I spent my first 18 year in Minot, North Dakota. It is impossible to document all that time; however, I have strived in this book to provide as good of an introduction to who I was as the available works permit. These include drawings and sketches as well as written works, some produced just for the fun of it, and others as class assignments.
Much of my earliest years produced little if anything that can provide a picture of what I did or who I was. As I grew I began designing things, allowing my imagination and creativity, rather than strict reality, to dictate. The earliest designs were graphical. Later, that creative urge found its way into words. The bulk of this book, then, provides written works primarily from the last third of this early period, my youth years.
