The An American Family collection represents nearly 50 years of genealogical research by the author and his immediate family. This book is a compilation of the data we have available on 269 individuals. This includes the author's parents, their 37 known direct descendants and their spouses and 192 known direct ancestors and their spouses, covering 15 generations. As shown on the Table of Contents, following the main listings is a Bibliography detailing 528 sources with 2180 citations, two indices containing 1213 name entries and a listing of 19 cemeteries including the 39 individuals from the book known to be buried in them.
