| Instructions on Import Format | ||
| Data may be imported from a SEIMS generated report containing the list of all contests and candidates for the election. The following specifies the format for the file as it is read by TSG Import: | ||
| Lines | Each line specifies a candidate. All information about the candidate is contained on the line, including the contest or race. | |
| Columns | The fields on a line are tab delimited, forming columns of variable length data. | |
| Column 1: | Candidate - Full name, which may contain nicknames in parenthesis. | |
| Column 3: | Party - Party abbreviations: DEM, REP, LIB, NON | |
| Column 4: | Contest - If present the leading party is removed (the format is "PPP - "). | |
| Column 5: | VoteFor - The number of votes a voter may cast in the contest. | |
| All other data columns are ignored. | ||
