This book [all 5 volumes] is a compilation of 35 years of collecting information on our family history. After all that time, with the input from innumerable people and cross checking so many resources, one would think we have gone as far as we can go. But, alas, not so!
We can best describe this project as evergreen. There will always be additionas to make, corrections to enter, and new births, marriages, and even deaths to record.... Evergreen - always growing, always alive.
Is that not what a family is, always growing, always alive? Always evergreen!
Quoted from the Introduction in Volume I.
The introduction, references, and indices in this volume apply to the remaining 4 volumes as well. This volume contains the common material, including the nomenclature used for individuals and references, as these are unique to our work.
